We are currently doing queue based printing but are looking to do a
migration. The problem is that some people want to move the printing to MS
2003/AD printing. I've done some research on the MS point and print and it
doesn't look to bad. You can browse for printer and have the driver
automatically installed. Another reason they like the MS printing is that
there is no additional client required on the workstation.
The plus for iPrint is that I we could convert the queue based printers to
iPrint printer on the workstation with no user intervention.
What I need is a comparison of MS printing with 2003/AD vs. iPrint. Anybody
got anything for me?
