A few weeks ago there was a lengthy thread about problems with HP LaserJet
1300 and 1320 printers that would suddenly stop printing, and the
temporary fix was to either power cycle the printer or restart the printer
agent (See "backing out iPrint unless someone can help", 6/1/06). The
suggestion was to add "NOSNMP" to the end of the gateway load string for
those printers.

Well it's now been three weeks since I added that, and neither the 1300
nor the 1320 has had a problem since then. Only time will tell if this
truly fixes the issue since in my environment at least a printer might go
a couple of weeks without have the problem, but so far it's promising.
I'll post a message should it break, though. :-)
