Seems our problems may be NDPS after all (after a random amount of time, our
OCE 9400-II shows up as "User Intervention Required" and "LPR Communication
Error" Appears in NDPS Manager.

I recently migrated the gateway from HP to Novell, but the printer still
appears to be configured as an HP.

Does anyone know the correct settings for this model of printer in NDPS?
