With the security level set to high (SSL/TLS secured printing enabled), I
was curious why the iPrint client doesn't seem to validate/check the
server's certificate before begining the encryption process? For instance,
when I go to my SSL-enabled https iPrint site, the browser does a
validation against the server's certificate and pops up a complaint
because my server is self-signed and therefor my browser doesn't trust it,
it asks me if I want to proceed. However, when I submit a print job, TLS
doesn't seem to care about checking the server's certificate and jumps
right into encrypting the data. Is there a way to turn on such
verification? The reason we are concerned about this in the context of
wireless and a man in the middle attack being possible with no such

Any advice?
