Greetings,

I have a few questions that I hope will shed light on our setup and
help
determine where to go from here.

- How many AFPTCP clients are folks supporting on a single server?
- How many CIFS clients are folks supporting on a single server?

- Does anybody know if there are plans to make NFAP
multiprocessor-capable (AFPTCP and CIFS)?

We support hundreds of Macs here and they each connect to a pair of
NW6+SP2 servers. AFPTCP threads are consistently the top 5-8 busiest threads. The addition of a 2nd CPU has not made much difference. We
are
wondering if it is time to unconsolidate some servers (i.e. more
uniprocessor boxes).

We also support ~2000 PCs connecting via the MS Client for NetWare
Networks. We are wondering how many CIFS clients we can throw at one
box.

Thanks,
