I've been testing afptcp 2.0 on NetWare 6.5 ... and I'm having trouble

noticing any sign of afp v3 support ... it still seems to be limited
to
v2.

The particulars: I installed twice (reinstalling on a fresh hard
drive
did not make any difference), I am using Universal passwords, NMAS
shows
that afptcp is using the universal password and the new Macintosh
Native
File Access NMAS method.

However ... when connecting from OSX ... I can not type in more than 8

characters for the password. If my actual password (universal
password)
is greater than 8 characters ... afptcp seems to authenticate me using

<just> the first 8 characters (security problem here?).

Once connected, I can not create files or directories more than 31 (or

is it 32?) characters in length.

So ... it seems that (for whatever reason) the afptcp 2.0 shipping
with
6.5 doesn't do v3 quite yet.

Of course, I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious here.

Thanks,
Charles.
