I have a NW 6.5 server using native file access to export an NFS
directory on an nss volume. I am able to mount the nfs directory,
however, if I try to cat a file it seems to hang at the end of the
listing. Also, I am unable to edit any files with VI. I can create new

files with VI without any problems. Trying to edit an existing file
causes it to just hang until I ctrl-c it. I am connecting from a
Tru-64 Unix Alpha server. Also copying files to this remote mount
to take a long time in comparison to a copy from a w2k machine.

Any help with the slow copy times and the inability to edit a file
be most appreciated.
