I have a two server test tree for the development of our NW6.5SP2 and ZEN6.5
upgrade project.

I have enabled CIFS and pointed it to our Active Directory Domain
Controller. The workstation logs into AD and then I try to map a drive to
the WINS name of one of these servers. I always get asked for a user name
and password.

This is what is displayed in the NMASLOG

02: CanDo
02: Sequence Selected == "Windows Native File Access"
02: Login Method 0x00000022
02: ERROR: -1642 Login Method

Here is the CIFS INFO,

CIFSNLM: Compile date and time is May 10 2004, 13:43:19
CIFSNLM Operating Parameters:
Server - "NWYNZEN2-W"
Comment - ""
Authentication - "Domain (passthrough)"
Domain - "AU"
Oplocks - Enabled
DFS - Disabled
Unicode - Enabled
Domain Add-on - Disabled
Share point - "Export All mounted Volumes"

From my reading of TIDS and newsgroup posts this seems to be a password
problem. Both user accounts have the same password. Simple passwords are not
enabled/set/configured as we are using Domain authentication and Universal
password is not enabled/configured for the user as there is not the
ConsoleOne - open user - go to properties | other and "nspmPasswordPolicyDN"
does not exist.

Do I need any NMAS or other clients installed as I have the iPrint, ZEN
Management Agent, iFolder and NICI 2.6.4-5 installed.

Any ideas, NW6 worked just fine but 6.5 seems to have made it more difficult
or there is a config step I have missed...
