Hello everyone,

I'm trying to add NFAP to my current NW6 sp4 edir 8.7.1 network to allow
our ColfFusion server running on Linux to access a database which
resides on the cluster. I've been following the directions in the NFAP
install/Admin guide's Linux section.

I created a shared volume on the cluster, installed NFS on both servers,
removed nfsstart from the autoexec.ncf, ran NFSSTOP and unloaded
nfsadmin and pkernel. I also deleted the NISSERV_ object, but was
surprised to see only one (the one that was missing was from the server
I'm having problems with...).

When I got to step 4 I ran the following command:

spinst -o 2 -v WEB: -n NFS_SERVER -i xx.xx.xx.xx

I got an error about unloading a killed module so I switch to the logger
screen and saw:

-------
Could not add the object : .CN=NISSERV_NFS_SERVER.O=ITS

Error Code : -672. Refer to NDS documentation for further
clarification.

Nisinst could not create the NIS Server Object with error code -672.

Make sure that NIS_SERVER_CONTEXT and NIS_SERVER_NAME params in NIS.CFG
are valid
d.

Also make sure that command line arguments passed in are valid.

Failed to get NIS_SERVER_CONTEXT or NIS_SERVER_NAME from NIS.CFG.

If the object exists in NDS,

specify the context and name of the NISSERV object in NIS.CFG.

If the object is not found in NDS, run nisinst.

You must unload NISINST.NLM before you can unload NDSILIB.NLM
---------

Any ideas what is going on?

Thanks,

Travis
