A while ago I had a problem where my ncf's for nfs (only nfs, not cifs or afp) were not present after upgrading an existing netware6.5 server to service pack 2.

After copying the files I needed over, I was able to get into the admin part of it in imanager. I couldn't start the service and I assumed it was because i hadn't created an export yet. Today I successfully created the export, but I still can't start the service. The ncf's and nlm's are in the correct locations.

imanager produces an "error starting service" page and the server console says the following when i try to start service from either imanager or the console:

Loading Module NISSERV.NLM [ AUTO FAIL ]
Auto-Loading Module NDSILIB.NLM [ OK ]
Auto-Loading Module NISBIND.NLM [ AUTO FAIL ]
Auto-Loading Module NISBIND.NLM [ AUTO FAIL ]
Auto-Loading Module NISSWDD.NLM [ AUTO FAIL ]
Auto-Loading Module NISBIND.NLM [ AUTO FAIL ]

Loading Module XNFS.NLM [ INIT FAIL ]

I am wondering if copying the files a while back maybe didn't fix my problem in its entirety.

Thank you in advance.
