Hello,
We have starnge problems with afp (2.39) running on a NW6.5SP3 plus all
known post patches.

We only have two Mac OSX Machines in our enviroment, sometimes when a mac
user tries to open a folder or starts a "bigger" file copy than then mac
client suddenly freezes.

when we than try to see via monitor.nlm what files are open, than after
hitting enter on the connection nothing happens and it is not possible to
work anymore with the monitor.nlm.

even when we try to stop afp via afpstop.ncf then follwing happens:

SNIP from CONSOLE

WIBO:afpstop
WARNING!
There are 5 active AFP sessions, but no files currently open.
Unloading AFP will disconnect these users abruptly.
Unload module anyway? n
Module AFPTCP.NLM was NOT unloaded
Module NFAP4NRM.NLM unloaded
WIBO:afpstop
WARNING!
There are 5 active AFP sessions, but no files currently open.
Unloading AFP will disconnect these users abruptly.
Unload module anyway? y

SNAP

and thats it the console is no working anymore, luckyly the rest of the
server is still working.

we than need to wait till all users have finshed theire work and than after
a reeboot the saga continues.

I have no idea what to do or wher to look, even i had not found any TID
about such a problem.

Probably anyone here is able to help us.

Best regards
