I'm experiencing a problem with CIFS access to Netware server. All servers
are SP5 with the latest post SP5 patches and Edir 8.7.3.8. Security
Services 2.0.2 is installed as well. A password policy has been set up
and associated with user "user".

CIFS appears to be configured properly but when attempting to access the
server, the user is prompted for authentication. The following appears in
the Dstrace screen:

ERROR: -626 resolveFilteredReplica: Resolving .user.org.tree.
ERROR: -626 dal_createUserContext: resolveFilteredReplica for user.org
ERROR: -626 DALCreateLoginSession:createUserContext
40: ERROR: -626 CheckIfLocalUser: DALCreateLoginSession
40: CheckIfLocalUser failed -16049

ERROR: -626 resolveFilteredReplica: Resolving .user.org.tree.
ERROR: -626 dal_createUserContext: resolveFilteredReplica for user.org

Any idea what this means and why it's causing CIFS to prompt for
authentication??

Thanks!
