I'm wondering if there are any NFS server tuning techniques out there.
I've looked over the documentation and read of how fast NFS on the
latest version of NW is supposed to be, but I'm hitting some serious
slowdowns here.

I've exported a path. Inside of it is a 300GB volume (200GB of actual
data) and approximately 12000 subfolders. The problem is when I connect
to this volume with an NFS client (OES SP2), it is extremely slow. It
takes a long time to come back with the results.

What are the best tuning techniques on the OES client and Netware NFS
server to increase performance? Performance improves significantly once
the connection is made (I'm assuming it caches the connection since the
initial seektime is what takes so long) Thanks,
