Our Macs (OSX 10.3 and 10.4) are unable to access our Netware servers
(nw6.5sp5 and nw6.5sp6) using CIFS. When attempting to connect using the
finder they get the following error:

The finder cannot complete the operation because some data in
"smb://server/share" could not be read or written.
(Error code -36)

From a terminal session I tried using "mount_smbfs -W DomainName -U UserName
//server/share /mountpoint" and get the following error:

mount_smbfs: negotiate phase failed: syserr = Resrouce temporarily

From a terminal session I am able to connect and browse using the ftp like
smbclient. I can connect to win2000 and win2003 servers in the same domain.
Changing the SMB signature setting on the server did not help. CIFS INFO on
the server shows:

CIFSNLM Operating Parameters:
Server - "SERVER-W"
Comment - ""
Authentication - "Domain (passthrough)"
Oplocks - Enabled
DFS - Disabled
Unicode - Enabled
Domain Add-on - Disabled
SMB Signatures - Optional
Share point - "SHARE"

Any ideas? Looking around this newsgroup I see other folks appear to be
using SMB with their macs.
