Hello all: I have been working with Anders over on the OES
install forum, then I remembered this forum - Probably a
better place to post.

We are installing our first two windows 2003 servers. My
thought is to setup a PDC on netware so our servers can
authenticate users via edir and avoid the need to setup AD
and replicate user accounts/sync. I followed the OES PDC
document, and with the help of Anders, have a PDC setup on
netware. However, I am not able to attach either the W2K3
servers or workstations to the domain. At first I was
getting a DNS lookup error but then installed the
_ldap._tcp.msdcs... srv record in dns. So now when I try to
attach to the domain, the srv record is found but I still
cannot attach. Here is the error:

DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV)
resource record used to locate a domain controller for
domain xyz_ad_domain:

The query was for the SRV record for

Common causes of this error include:

- Host (A) records that map the name of the domain
controller to its IP addresses are missing or contain
incorrect addresses.

- Domain controllers registered in DNS are not connected to
the network or are not running.

I have the proper dns records setup. I have no idea what to
try next?

Is there a go doc out there describing ALL the pieces that
need to be in place for CIFS PDC to function properly? Or
do you have any other suggestions for me to try?

Thanks for your help, Chris.
