Recently, we created a new tree encryption key from 56-bit to 168-bit
key in preparation in moving to Universal Passwords.

One of the things we've noticed is that we are no longer able to join
the domain (hosted on NW6.5 SP5 server) as a member. We can add servers
as a domain controller. We can have another Novell server join it as a
member. But our Windows workstations can't join the domain.

I'm suspecting that it's because of this new tree key. Maybe we need to
import a new certificate to the workstation or something? Anybody have
any clue on this?

CIFS is working still. We can access the servers through CIFS. Just
can't join it to the domain as a member.
