Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue or knows of a solution
for it.

I am having a problem assigning trustee rights to a group on an OES Linux
NSS volume. For some reason the members of the group do not get the
rights of the group. If I assign the users trustee rights directly or if I
assign the group rights to an OES NetWare NSS volume it works fine.

How to reproduce...

1. Create a group in eDirectory.

2. Assign the group rights to a folder located on an OES Linux NSS volume.

3. Assign the group rights to a folder located on an OES NetWare NSS
volume.

4. Make a user a member of the group.

5. Look at the effective rights of the member of the group for the folder
on the NetWare NSS volume. They should have the correct rights.

6. Look at the effective rights of the member of the group for the folder
on the Linux NSS volume. They will not have the correct rights.

It does not seem to matter of the group is a Linux enabled group or not.

Any ideas?
