Hi all.

We have an 8-port switch. Attached to this are 2 NetWare 6.5 servers. Both are singly
attached to the switch. We also have two FC attached Overland NEO 2000 tape libraries.
Each has two tape drives. Both the tape drives are attached to the FC switch. The
Overlands also have a Fibre Channel Option card each.

ARCserve was installed successfully on the first server when it and the original tape
library were attached to the SAN. The second tape library was immediately recognised by
ARCserve and, following some slight manual configuration, both libraries are hosted by the
original server.

What I'm trying to do is to now have both servers be able to see the libraries, but amend
the configuration such that one server is responsible for only one library.

I'm close to achieving this. I've installed ARcserve on the second server, configured the
devices through the management application and the TLO and successfully loaded the

Ostensibly, all is well. However, I am getting "changer not initialised" warnings for both
libraries that the second server can see.

Does anyone have any clueas as to where I might have gone wrong?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
