Hi

Im connected to the Internet via an ADSL-modem. The modem has a
built-in
DHCP server, which distributes IP:s nicely to my workstation if I
connect
that to the modem directly.

Now I want the server (NW5.1sp6) to receive a dynamic ip as well. Ive

downloaded the DHCPCLNT.NLM which should do the job, but it doesnt.
It does
a broadcast for DHCP-servers (and the lights on the modem flashes for
a
short while) but then the server says that it wasnt able to assign
any IP.

Ive followed the instructions on this page:
http://www.compunotes.com/ArticleSec...orkmonkey1.htm

and have done no other changes to the network boards and bindings
after
install.

Anyone has a clue how to dynamically assign an IP to the server via
DHCP?
