We have a DNS domain name i.e. domainname.com which is hosted on a
freebsd server. Recently, I have configured 2 netware servers hosting
2
subzones. The apserver is the DNS server for ap.domainname.com zone &

euserver is the DNS server for eu.domainname.com.

I did the nslookup using the netware dns server but it can only
resolve
to its own zone. For example, if I am on the ap.domainname.com zone,
I
can resolve any DNS records under this zone but if I tried to resolve
DNS
record for eu.domainname.com or domainname.com, I would get "non-
existence domain" error. For the domainname.com, I thought because it
is
not Netware and it cannot resolve to other DNS server. However, after
I
got the second zone hosted by Netware server but still got the non-
existence domain" error indicated to me that when the Netware DNS
server
cannot resolve the record, it would not redirect the query to other
DNS
server. The forwarder is setup to the DNS server from the ISP for
external DNS resolution and the domainname.com is mainly for internal
DNS
lookup.

Could you tell me how I can have the Netware DNS server query other
Netware DNS servers for DNS lookup. Secondly, I have configured the domainname.com as the secondary DNS zone and the primary DNS server is

the IP address of the FreeBSD server but Netware could not lookup
outside
its own zone.

Your help is highly appreicated.
