O.K. I bought the idiot's guide to DNS/DHCP from caledonia (thanks
Joe..)
and I seem to have it working. I created a domain (summit.k12.co.us)
and
forwarded to my isp and made rr's for all the servers in my wan as
well
as in-addr-arpa zones for all my subnets. My addressing scheme is
172.16.0.0 with a subnet mask of 255.255.252.0 (172.16.4.0,172.16.8.0,

etc... through 172.16.36.0) My question is, is there a way for users
on
the different network segments to be pointed to a unique zenwsimport server (their local server) using DNS? Do I have to create more zones?
If
so, please be very specific about where and how and what type of
resource
records, etc.. because I'm not getting very far on intuition alone.

Thanks for any help

P.S. Do I need all the in-addr-arpa zones I created?
(172.16.0.0,172.16.4.0, etc...) or do I just need the 0.0? Or do I
need
more?(172.16.0.0,172.16.1.0,172.16.2.0, etc...)?

thanks,

Bryan
