Good afternoon,

I'm trying to setup a child domain on a remote server and seem to be
having
some problems. I setup the parent domain and have successfully setup
another
child domain using TID10016522. After I configured DNS and loaded
NAMED, I
set a couple of workstations to use this DNS server. DNS is set to
Always
Update, the correct DNS server and domain are entered. When I do an
NSLOOKUP
from the client's workstation, this was what I get:

Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]
(C) Copyright 1985-2000 Microsoft Corp.

C:\>nslookup
Default Server: server_name.child.domain.com
Address: 1.2.3.4

> workstation1

Server: server_name.child.domain.com
Address: 1.2.3.4

*** server_name.child.domain.com can't find workstation1:
Non-existent domain
> workstation1.server_name.child.domain.com

Server: server_name.child.domain.com
Address: 1.2.3.4

*** server_name.child.domain.com can't find
workstation1.server_name.child.domain.com: Non-existent domain
>

When I enabled the Audit trail, I started getting this error message
at the
remote server console:

Error 35082 during NDS Operation.

I named in verbose mode, along with dbglog.nlm, but didn't see
anything in
the log pertaining to my problem.

Thanks for any suggestions!
