Anyone succesfully have Netware 6.0 DHCPSRVR.NLM v 3.12 handing out
proper
subnet address to IP phones?
this works with Linux DHCP, but for some reason won't work with
Netware.
Basically I have a PC vlan(10.1.32.x) and Phone
VLAN(192.168.132.x)When
the phone tries to pick up an IP address,it gets the wrong IP (out of
the
PC vlan). I know it will give out the correct subnet IP for other PC subnets, just not for the phones.
I have included all the options we had set up in the Linux DHCP config
file
for the phone subnets option 3(router),5(Name
server),6,28(Broadcast),66
(TFTP server name)with the exception of a Next Server command, which
points
to the TFTP server, which is a command needed for our conference
phones(if
anyone knows how to duplicate the Next Server command in Netware DHCP
I
would really appreciate it as it will be my next hurdle)
On the cisco side we are changing the ip-helper to point to our
Netware
DHCP,so I don't think it is on the Cisco side.
