I run a purely internal DNS system, and I'm getting a lot of searches
on
my NAMED servers for names like our tree name as entries in the root domain of DNS.

I'd like to try and help a little here and create some CNAME entries
in
the root domain. TID 10062352 details how to create a root domain via
a
BIND import file, but I seem to be making a stupid mistake somewhere.
My
root BIND file is:

$ORIGIN [root].
@ IN SOA server.domain. admin.domain. (2003081801 10800 3600 604800
86400)

But when I try the import in the Java Console, I get an EDNS302 (Error

occured creating zone, SOA may have incorrect number of entries) on
line
2.

Thoughts ?

Thanks,

GTG
