Hi all,

We have an issue where we are unable to move workstations between
subnets smoothly. When the workstation comes up, the DHCP server
decides
the old address was manually assigned and refuses to lease an address
on
the new subnet. The DHCPSRVR -D3 log looks like this;

936 : Get type:4, IPAddr: 0.0.0.0, LeaseTime:0,MacIndx:88,pIP=C15BC84A

old pIP addr: 193.91.200.74 is MANUAL cannot be deleted.
AMAGet() exit type=4, err=24, addr=0.0.0.0
2003/09/05 16:57:06 <DHCPDISCOVER> packet received from client

<0:2:A5:FD:45:46>.
2003/09/05 16:57:06 Error code = 24 after DHCPSRVR cache has been queried for client <0:2:A5:FD:45:46>.

I had a quick search through the google archive on this group, and
there
are several threads dealing with this issue, but no resolution as far
as
I can see.

Info:
Netware 5.1 SP5
DHCPSRVR.NLM v3.11d

Any ideas?

Cheers!
