I posted this in the netware6.admin-tools group before I realized this
group
existed...Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Hello all!!

All of a sudden one of our server stopped handing out IP's! I have
tried
different versions of DHCPSRVR.NLM, tried deleting and recreating the
DHCP
server object, recreating Ranges, subnets, even tried resetting the
lan
switch, router and server! It worked for only a few workstations
today, but
since I rebooted the server it has yet to dish out any IP's. I also
ran
dhcpsrvr with the -s and -d2 switch to see whats happeneing, but
nothing!

Any thoughts on this?

TIA

second post was...

Ok...sorry for the vagueness...This server is using an Intel NIC so I
don't
think it has to do with broadcom NIC stuff...

DHCP version 3.11d though I have tried v 3.12.01
TCPIP.NLM Version 6.05 O
The concole doesnt show any requests, or ack's, just the default DHCP
debug
screen when it is intially loaded. The branch has IP and IPX loaded
and
bound, and the clients are IP only. If I manually set the IP's, the
clients
work fine, but the server just doesn't want to listen to DHCP
requests...we
did have a wierd message this morning that said ...

Entered ReadUnauthorizedIPs()
Entered ReadUnauthorizedIPs()
Entered ReadUnauthorizedIPs()
Entered ReadUnauthorizedIPs()

Not sure what this means but novell's search didn't seem to have
anything on
it.
I am very close to calling Novell support, though I am reluctant since
I
don't have that much time today...anymore thoughts?

Thanks again!
