The only problem I appear to be having is that I cannot hit our
externally
hosted website from behind the firewall. This works fine on
workstations
that are still using the ISPs DNS servers, but they are unable to see
the
intranet site.

Our public web site is hosted at our ISP and is www.company.com. On
our
network I have set up an intranet/extranet of server.company.com. My
intent
is to allow staff to access this site the same way whether they are in
the
building or at home. This part works fine, but I cannot get to our
externally hosted web site from inside unless I use the IP address.
What am
I missing? Having the same domain name internally and externally
should not
be a problem, right?
