We just upgraded our headquarters DNS/DHCP server from NW 5.1 SP6 to
6.5. Everything seems to work fine except that zone transfers to a
sateliite office NW 6.0 DNS secondary server (which is in a different

tree) now fail with an error "error during zone-in of zone abc.com".

I found TID 10066631 that mentions zone transfer from Linux BIND 9 DNS

servers will fail to BIND 8.x servers due to a "many-answers" vs.
"single answers" format incompatibility.

If this is the case, can the NW 6.5 NAMED program be configured to
supply answers in BIND 8 compliant format?
