I have (2) NW6.0 SP4 DNS servers. In DNSDHCP Mgr I have setup a domain
called abc.com. I have an "A" record of "hp9000" pointing to a
internal address. My DNS servers point to my ISP's DNS servers ip addresses
on the forwarding list tab. Today I lost internet connectivity due to an
ISP problem. I understand and agree that I could not browse or resolve
I have multiple network segments . On my local 10.10.2.x segment I
don't know if I could resolve hp9000.abc.com or not. On my other segments, I
could not. Can the loss of internet connectivity stop my DNS server from
resolving a local DNS record?
All help is appreciated.
