Hello there:
We currently are servicing our domain with a NW65sp1 server as our Primary
DNS server. We have 3 other Linux servers that are Secondary servers to
this zone, pulling zone transfers. What's strange, is that in looking at
the log for our Novell DNS server, I am seeing the following messages
everytime we make a change on a zone on our Novell DNS server:

May 18, 2004 5:50:26 PM EDT Major Operational Zone: myzone.com -
Request for zone transfer out rejected. IP address of requestor:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx#33009.
May 18, 2004 5:50:26 PM EDT Informational Operational Zone:
myzone.com- Zone transfer out has started.
May 18, 2004 5:50:26 PM EDT Informational Operational Zone:
myzone.com- Zone transfer out has completed.

These Secondary servers are indeed pulling the updates it seems, as I have
examined the .zone files on the Linux boxes (serial numbers incremented,
and entries I added in Novell replicated to these boxes), but what are
these messages, and should I be concerned? The first message seems to
indicate a problem, and then the second two messages seem to indicate a
completed zone transfer....

Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I replaced the IP address of
the Secondary server with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Thanks,
Eric
