We have a Novell DNS server that is a Secondary for a particular zone.
When I delete an "A" record on the Primary (Red Hat BIND 9 DNS server),
and then I go to DNSDHCP Management console, the "A" record has been
deleted accordingly, but the icon for the attribute does not go away. In
otherwords, the record is gone, but the "attribute" with it's name
remains, along with the little icon that looks like a box within a box. I
know the transfers are taking place, as the SOA serial number is
incrementing properly, and the "A" record underneath the attribute is
disappearing, but that attribute remains. We shouldn't be manually
deleting these on the Secondary, should we? Did I miss something on the
setup? Thanks, Eric.
