If I disable DNS Client from services.msc in either Windows 2000 or XP, our workstations works continuously without any problems. If it is set to Automatic - Started, it would work sometimes but not always.

It would sometimes point to an external ip addresses which I want all the workstations to point to the internal ip addresses. Turning off the DNS Client will always force it to use the internal ip addresses.

Is there a trick to fix this without having to disable the DNS Client?

We are using NetWare 6.5SP2 and the DHCPSRVR has not reported any problems for 241 days!!
