We will soon upgrade our internet connection to a faster link and will
need to host our dns services locally which is now maintained by our
local university.
I am currently using the novell dns to reslove local addresses.

For convenience I thought that using a linux box for all external dns
requests would be the best way to go.

public ip <--> bordermanager translated to private ip <--> dns name server

At this time I think our secondary dns server will be hosted off site.

I am new to dns and would like comments on the above solution.

Thank you
