I have netware 5.1 sp6 with eDir 8.7 running dhcpsrvr 3.11a. I'm
reassigning some ip addresses on our Win XP workstations, but roughtly 1/3
of them refuse to pick up their new ip addresses. The procedure I've used
is:
- delete the old ip address in dnsdhcp
- add the new address
- reload dhcpsrvr at the server console

I loaded dhcpsrvr with -d5 to see what was happening. The output
follows...(new ip I want to assign is 10.1.32.101, old ip is
10.1.32.100). It seems the client caches its old ip address and refuses
to give it up, even though the server knows it is supposed to get the new
address. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
