We have serveral Windows 9x, 2000 and XP workstations and also some old
Win3.11 WS for our chemical analysis equipment. The Win3.11 clients have
IPX/SPX and NetBEUI protocoll installed and communicate with the other
clients by the Windows Client. Recently we substituted our NW 4.2 SB
server with a new NW 6.5 SB server with new hardware. After this, our XP
clients do not communicate with the Win3.11 any more. (The XP clients
are running TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocol). Because the Netware network
and the Microsoft network does not have any influence to each other, I
think the only thing which impacts both is the DHCP server, which is
running on the NW server.
I didn't remember anything which I had configured on the old server.
Are there parameters on the DHCP server, which influence this behavior?
