Hi

I have a new DNS server on NW6.5sp3. It [named.nlm] is different to
previous versions. It did load OK but now seems to have problems. It
claims the eDir integration fails to authenticate correctly.

The DNS server [active] shows ...

Starting eDirectory integrated Novell DNS Server…
critical: Unable to authenticate DS connection
critical: eDirectory login failed with error 35073
critical: Failed to load RRs of a zone with error 35073

Last two lines repeated an number of times
Loading the configuration and zone data completed.
DNS server running

Error 35073 is to do with certificate authentication. tid 10054311.

I have run DSRepair on the master replica server and the DNS server. Many
DNS record obituraries were removed.
eg :
ERROR: Invalid server ID in backlink obituary is purged: 00008015

The eDir login problem seems to persist. Maybe it needs time to sort
itself out? It was not a problem previously. Will try it again tomorrow.

So I have used the old [not eDir linked] named.nlm from NW6 until I can
sort it out.

Assistance appreciated.
Thanks John
