Hi colleagues,

I didn't find any opportunity to implement DNS subzones reverse lookup
for class C nets in a class B net:

Class B: 122.10.IN-ADDR.ARPA
Class C: xxx.122.10.IN-ADDR.ARPA

outside servers are configured to be secondary servers for the
122.10.IN-ADDR.ARPA zone only. If they now want to do a reverse lookup
to one of our class-C-nets, they query our DNS but our DNS does not look
into its class C zones. If I manually add a rr-entry for a machine into
the class B container, everything works all right.
The problem is, that I want to keep with the class C reverse zones as
the network is quite large and the DNSDHCP-tool would become very
complex when we just used only one class B-zone.
Is it anyhow possible to tell the Novell DNS-Server to query in its own
class-C rr-zones when queried from an external host via the class-B rr-zone?

Does anyone have a helpful reference?
