I have two dns servers set up on our network, on a Netware 6.0 sp5 and
one a Netware 6.5 sp2. My DNS is basically set up to serve a few local
addresses and to go out to my ISP for most other addresses. My ISP has
a few email servers at other schools within our immediate area that are
listed in their DNS as private addresses (10.x.x.x) When I ping the URL
from either of my DNS servers I get the correct IP address (i.e.
xschool.com resolves to 10.x.x.x). However, if I try to use either of
the DNS servers from another server or workstation, I can not resolve
the address. There were a couple of addresses that I used to have in my
DNS tables, which I have removed. I restarted both DNS servers and
other servers after I deleted the entries. I saw that I still had a
couple of IN-ADDR.arp records that weren't cleared and I have since
deleted them and unloaded NAMED and reloaded it. Still neither none of
my other servers or workstations using the DNS servers are resolving an
IP address if they use the DNS servers. The key issue is my mail server
which cannot send email to the servers because it can't find the
addresses it needs. I have restarted workstations to check to see if
they could resolve to the correct address and they can't.

Anyone have any ideas?
