Hi all,

we have an internal DNS/DHCP server for local resolution. I don't believe
that our ISP has a record of our zone at all. Here is the dilema. One of
our engineers has created a win2k3 network on a vlan. The ISP's has added
the records of all IP's with their related dns names. When here a
workstation tries to access a website on that VLAN it won't open. If we
change that workstation's primary DNS to the ISP's then it will.
What am I missing here?
What we try to avoid is not having to add all the records to our dns
server. I thouhgt that if our server can not resolve it the it will look
in the forward one (which the IPS's) and resolve it. Maybe I'm doing
something wrong.
