Hi everybody.

A customer of ours is trying the *standalone* installation of ZAM 7 (not
sure if it's 7.0 or 7.5 but I *suspect* it's 7.0) on a Windows 2003 Small
Business Server SP1.

Everything seems to go smooth until the end of the install phase when the
following gets depicted:

ZENworks Asset Management Setup cannot connect to the database due to an
unknown DBP Exception

File DBSetupLog.txt reports the following:

DBCreate.dll <date time>
The attempt to connect to the <servername> server failed.

DBCreate.dll <date time>
Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: 28000)returned error: 18456
Description: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed
for user 'sa'.

If memory serves, for a standalone install user "sa" gets created by
default when the MSDE gets installed; not sure if you can change its
password during the ZAM installation.

I suggested the customer to check the <servername>, to check for an
existing installation of MSDE and to check if he can connect to the
database with user "ncsystem" (from Control Panel -> ODBC).

If you have other ideas/suggestions, please let me know.
