I have run into a problem that seems to have begun March 23 or 24. When I
try to scan a new machine or do a forced scan on a machine already listed I
get a connection error (could not ConnectForScanMode to "ip address goes
here" - 7460). I have installed the ZAM asset management client with an
options package that includes the ip address of the collection server as
indicated in the knowledge base. I can ping the collection server, I can
resolve it using DNS, however, I cannot connect with my machines. We are
using the standard ports. Any ideas?
