I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. I have a
couple of INF files the i've been trying to use the rundll32 setupapi
call to install in a pre-distribution script.

When i issue the command from a cmd prompt (when logged in with
regular admin rights), everything works fine.

If I create an app object that launches rundll32 with the command line
(rather than put it in the distribution script), it works.

However, when i put the command in the pre-distribution script, it
doesn't work. I can see rundll32 actually being run in the script but
it doesn't perform the install.

Any thoughts? Does the setupapi.dll file that i'm calling require a
user interface to be present for it to run?
