For somereason I have a large number of computers that show the following error in the Inventory Scan Status:

Scanner (Information) : 002: Unable to register to DMI service layer.

I thought this might be because our workstations don't have the Dell OpenManage client installed. I installed it on one and took another inventory but I still received the error. Did some searching but couldn't find anything relevant. Has anyone seen this before? We would really like to get DMI working properly, as I understand it's needed for Inventory to pull the Asset Tag info out of the BIOS.
