We are using a third-party helpdesk solution that communicates through LDAP with our eDirectory. When a new ticket is created, the application pulls certain info about the user and workstation. So far, I was only able to pull ZenLoggedinWorkstation, but I would like to add more fields. The problem is that the user objects don't have Zen workstation attributes. I was wondering if there could be a way to customize the user object schema, so that the user receives more info from a workstation he/she logs in. Later, I could utilize those extra fields in the helpdesk solution. Is it safe to customize the user objects schema? If so, how to do it?
