Using 6.5sp1b on XP sp2 - When I create a user policy package and
configure Windows Group Policy to remove items from the Start Menu (such
as the run command) and I apply them to a user the settings apply
correctly. However, when I make this user a member of a group, and then
also apply a user policy package to this group (in the same container as
the user) and configure the NT Desktop Preferences to set the Desktop
color scheme (under Display/Appearance) not only does the desktop color
scheme not change, the links I removed from the Start Menu through the
Windows Group Policy reappear (such as the run command). I know security
settings are not additive for group policies in ZEN but is there also some
limitation to using Group Policies and NT Desktop Preferences for the same
user (or some other problem)?
