Hi all, thanks in advance for any help on this. From what I've understood
in the past, Novell recommended setting the user up as an administrator in
the policy. Is this still the case? We have been looking at setting them
up as users to eliminate unauthorized installations.

However, running apps as secure/insecure system user appears to require
either giving public access to the volume, giving public access to each
folder needed individually, or associating the rights with the imported
workstation. If we have a database or some sensitive info, public access
might be insecure and changing/associating rights with each workstation
seems to be a lot of maintenance.

Has anybody successfully made this work?
Also, I wasn't sure if this was the best forum for this, let me know...
