Ok, maybe this is a windowsproblem, I really don't know.

I posted a message in the thread "Workstation Manager reboots computer".
In that thread I posted a followup message about me being unable to change
the "Specify intranet Windows update services" policy on one machine (one,
since this is my test machine before distributing the changes to other

I tried a lot of thing. Nothing worked. So I ran RegMon(sysinternals.com)
to take a look at what happened. What I discovered was that Winlogon.exe
changes this value back to the old windows update server!

I manually edited the registry :
HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUp date - to the correct
server AND I also manually changed the GPO to point at the new one.

I disconnected the LAN cable and rebooted the machine to find that it still
changes the darn values...

I looked at the %windir%\system32\GroupPolicy\*. Nowhere does this point to

Where the heck do windows get this old value? Anyone??
