I've been looking around Cool Solutions and Zenworks forums for a good
solution to this problem. Right now a Windows XP user with Zenworks 6.5
agent installed can right click on the Remote Control icon in the systray,
choose request session, enter an IP address, choose the operation and click
OK. We need some way to have it automatically put in the IP address because
there are times, such as in the PC Lab, where a user will not be near a
phone yet needs help. One thought was to use a command line switch for the
agent in a wrapper and have that wrapper ping a list of IP addresses to see
who's active and then put that info into the field. What do other people do
to fill in this field and give users quick access to Help Desk personnel
when they're not near a phone?
