In my organization, we silently install applications to our workstations
as soon as the workstation is imported. This is done by associating the
application to the workstation object(s) via force run. These
applications are setup using the "wait on force run" and "determine
force run order" options.

I'm finding that any simple application I create and associate to
workstations as force run fails to continue onto the next application
in the list. MSI applications work perfectly, however.

Here is an example of my problem:

Application 1 MSI
Application 2 MSI
Application 3 Simple App
Application 4 MSI

When application 1 runs, it installs perfectly and then continues onto
the next app. Application 2 runs, and again, installs perfectly and
continues onto Application 3. Application 3 runs perfectly and then
stops. It will not continue onto the next application unless I restart
the computer. Once the computer has been restarted it will continue on
down the list of applications until it reaches another simple
application. I must restart once again to get around this.

Note that this only happens when Ive actually defined a path under Run
Options > Application > Path to File field. If I create a simple
application (Install Only - No Executable Needed) and use only the
settings under the Distribution Options tab (like pushing out registry
or application files), the application works as expected and will
continue on to the next app.

The only way Ive been able to get around this problem is to use a
pre-launch script that launches the application. I can make it work
this way but Id rather not if I dont have to. Has anyone else
experienced this issue?

Ive got ZENworks 7 SP1 installed on both the server and client. I
upgraded from 7 (no service pack) in hopes that this would solve these
issues. As you might have guessed, it has not.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
