I have an MSI app that installs a program and launches it successfully.
However, before the application is installed/ran, I have a "Run before
distribution" set up to use %*WINSYSDIR%\CMD.EXE /C"

The commands in the Run before Distribution are:
del /s "%programfiles%\knowledgepoint\*.*"
del /s "%allusersprofile%\desktop\*perform*.lnk"
del /s "%userprofile%\desktop\*perform*.lnk"
del /s "%userprofile%\start menu\programs\knowledgepoint\*.*"
del /s "%allusersprofile%\start menu\programs\knowledgepoint\*.*"

For whatever reason, when I run the app object, CMD.exe just sits in
the Taskmanager. If i end process on the CMD.exe, the application
installs and/or runs.

Whats the deal? I have another app object that is setup the same way,
with similar commands (to delete icons on users desktops) without
issues. However this app ONLY runs the predist script, there is no
installs/launching happening.
